Mets have signed Outfielder Desmond Jennings to a minor league deal. According to Betsy Helfand, Triple-A Manager Pedro Lopez states he’ll play all three outfield positions and play around four games a week.

According To Amed Rosario‘s twitter, he is headed to Triple-A Vegas. David Roseboom has been confirmed to be heading to Vegas as well.

According to Michael Mayer of Metsminors.net, David Thompson is headed to Double-A Binghamton.

According to the Columbia Fireflies, 2016 10th round pick Gene Cone will join the team for the 2017 Season.

Mets continue to stay out of the Cuban Market, as the San Diego Padres sign Cuban Defector  Osvaldo Hernandez. The Left Handed 18-year old pitcher was signed to a 2.5 million dollar bonus.

The Mets, who don’t generally sign young amateur Cubans are interested in signing Osvaldo Hernandez, an 18 year old Cuban Defector, according to Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com. The Mets have never signed an amateur Cuban.
